We’re celebrating the arrival of our first ever baby…
On the Night that We First Met by Nadine Bates is our new little bundle of joy and we’re ready to share it with the world.
Come along and join in the fun with a book reading, some craft for the littlies and as a special treat some kindy-indie entertainment by the gorgeous Nadia Sunde.

CYA Conference Writing & Illustrating Competitions – All sections
June 30, 2011 all day – Online entry required
CYA Conference writing & illustrating competitions are open to all from ages 8 year old and upwards.
Sections include picture book, chapter book, young adult, illustrations, illustrated picture books and graphic novels. Categories include Published, Unpublished/aspiring and Hatchlings (8-18 years).
Entry fees apply.

CYA Conference ~ Alligators (Adults)
September 10, 2011 from 8am to 5pm – St Laurence’s College
The sixth CYA Conference will be held on the 10th and 11th September 2011. CYA Conference is two days of master classes and workshops which are conducted by Australian authors and illustrators, and industry professionals.
Alligators: is aimed as a professional development day for new and established writers and illustrators of Children’s and Young Adult literature.
Manuscript assessments/pitches will be held by editors of Australian Publishing Houses and an on site agent.

CYA Conference ~ Hatchlings (8-18 years)
September 11, 2011 from 9:30am to 2:30pm – St Laurence’s College
The second Hatchlings will be held on the 11th September 2011.
Hatchlings: is a day of interactive workshops for children 8 – 18 years old who are interested in writing and illustrating for the CYA industry, with low presenter to children’s ratios.
